For those who may not remember, Gheorghe Zamfir is probably best known for the late 80’s early 90’s commercials that aired on CNN advertising the world renowned maestro of the pan flute. The world knew him but Americans were so isolated to cultural music at that time.

The Nettle plant (Urtica Dioica) really isn’t anyone’s friend in the wild form. This plant is called “Stinging Nettle” because of the needle like hairs on the leaves that inject a mixture of histamine and formic acid when touched or brushed against.

I can’t sleep.  Could this be why?  Drank this a few times today.  Michelle Mc., I’m posting this just for you!!  There is nothing like Romanian honeycake and Gelu’s coffee.  After the dessert you can still have more dessert at the bottom of the pot  🙂   In Texas we call this “Cowboy Coffee”
