Words do fall short Lori. This picture reminds me of the thousands of people who came to hear Jesus and there was not enough fish or bread for them all.
But Miracles do happen…
Little Miracles can make a big difference!
Thank you again.
Lori
I was thinking the same about the loaves and fishes 🙂 They were all reaching for a bracelet and I don’t know if God multiplied them or not since kids seem to come out of the bush everywhere here, but we had enough. I love Heidi Baker, a missionary who lives in Mozambique, she wrote a book about a food miracle that happened on her compound when she had taken in dozens of orphans. You should read this book. It is a quick read and really exceptional. The book is called “Always Enough” I’ll post up a link to it later on my links section. Heidi and Roland Baker are a true inspiration. I had the pleasure of meeting them in Toronto and that changed my life.
sez you. kidding, i think i take a look at the book. you’re insights have always led me down a good path, so i will continue.
good luck with the good work
Most of those children in that picture are HIV or AIDS positive. They are living a GREAT life in the orphanage village. Most have sponsors for their treatment. We will be working with this orphanage closely because I love their model of making the community work together to become self sustaining. There will be opportunities for people to help.
