My feet hurt, my back hurts but doggone it….its my birthday and I’m spending it in Budapest. I had a triple dip of icecream, rum nut, mozart and venice flavor. YUM To die for. I think I may have earned it with this trip! Eszter and I had delicious pizza!!!
We walked but her “oh it’s not too far,” is way different from my Texan walk across the street or down the block. We did some shopping and just hung around the square and talked. I enjoyed it very much because I am so tired really. I keep waking up at 4 am for some reason.
This may be a good thing this morning because I have to leave about that time to get to the airport.
My friend Thierry Lebon from France sent me these lovely flowers for my birthday. I’m so happy. What a wonderful thing to do. Europeans always make things so nice on birthdays!
This was one of my birthdays I really wanted to skip. I’m saying from now on that I’m 39something. I really am.
I have a lot to write about and I must finish much of it when I return home. This trip seemed to be a little more difficult with the weather, the volcano and the constant in car trips to the airport. I didn’t take all the pics I wanted but I’m really thankful that I can come home on time.
I pray I can return some day and do all the things that the tourists do when they are here, it looks so fun!!! I’d love to take a cruise down the Danube to Germany!
Ok and now you must know, and I will post a pic of that later, I will have to negotiate my bags down two flights of spiral stairs at 4 am. You see I’m on the “first floor” so that makes sense right?
Happy Birthday mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
