Last night as I slept in Budapest, this was happening near my home in Amarillo.   Thankfully everyone is safe and it did no serious damage. This is probably only about 5 or 6 miles from our home at the most.  While I’ve been gone there were several tornadoes in our area.   Glad that I missed this one!  This is something I’ve grown up with and still frightens me even with our excellent weather predictors and early warning systems. I find it remarkable that people in the video are still driving into the tornado path. Curiosity? Insanity? Death wish?
