As I drink my morning coffee and the grounds are settling, I can’t wait to tell you about Simona’s new venture. Simona is exactly like me, she is doing 15 things at one time, she’s always thinking of another thing to try and she’s an entrepreneur.
She found out about this business franchise and she has two donut places in Tirgoviste. One is a donut trailer stand that sits right smak in the middle of the center park in Tirgoviste. The other sits in the center square of the city. Both prime locations.
The times I’ve gone there were always people buying and standing in line.
These are no ordinary donuts, these are “Posh” donuts as the name says on her sign, and they come in two sizes. The small size is 6 donuts to a tray. The large one is ridiculously large. You can eat them as you go or take them home. They are 3 and 6 lei. (1 lei=.30 USD) You can choose from many toppings such as white chocolate, caramel and kiwi. They are out of this world delicious and I’m having to say no each time we go. My favorite topping is white chocolate!
Everything is mechanical and automatic and I want one of these machines! Rachel, how would you like to work in a little donut store?? Where could we put one in Amarillo? Could we combine it with low calorie frozen yogurt business to offset the calories? hah
The Romanians love them and with good reason. As soon as people saw Simona’s store, little donut places started popping up. Even next door to her at an unrelated business they started selling donuts.
Lets face it also folks, this may be the one and only time you will ever see Simona cooking!!
They look delicious!!!! Simona looks great. I am assuming she adopted an orphan since she doesn’t look like she just had a baby. Correct?
Actually, she had a baby, she didn’t adopt. I’ll post pics of baby in another entry. It took all day to upload the pics in my Images section!
