I have caught something. I think it must have happened on the plane, because it is just too soon to have caught it from the kids. I drank two pots full of tea with fresh slices of lemon. My appetite wasn’t normal and today I had a fever so I laid down a couple of hours.
Speaking of official…the oddest thing here…If you are a senator’s son or a high ranking officials something or other, you can put in your car fake police lights and sirens and run everyone off the road! How about that? With all of that you get at least a minute gain on all the other traffic! Yet another innovative way to lessen efficiency of traffic. The other ways are to stall out your horse and cart in the middle of the highway blocking both lanes, or drive your sheep across the road and one gets a “flat” and can’t move..and stray trash bags, and other fallen items.
Since I’m feeling a little under the weather….I’m going to lay down for the evening. I’ll have again limited access tomorrow as I’m headed somewhere else for the evening. My time in Romania is coming to a close. It never is enough time. Never
I’ll write soon about Rachel’s brother. Noapte Buna!
Oh Lori, I am so sorry you are under the weather. ugh. Being away from home sick is hard enough, being in another country is worse. I am glad you have friends who can care for you. Feel better. I have just prayed for you.
Lori
I prayed I would not get sick but what can you do? It is tough when you are sick and trying to be on a schedule.
Hey lady, I hope you feel better. Has things cleared with the volcano? I noticed you were a drinking out of my little coffee pot, funny I took almost the same oicture. How funny we are. Now that I’m not in school I’m bored so, I am thinking of ways to get out of here and come to Uganda!
Love,
Jamie
I got the Romanian version of theraflu and I’m feeling better although I can’t wait to have the next dose. I drank from this same coffee pot years ago! I sooooo wish you could go with me to Uganda! Do it, somehow! You must! Uganda needs us!
