<\/p>\nLovely. I’m sitting at the airport reflecting on Murphy’s Law. It always seems to be a part of my travel plans. I’ve come to embrace it. The plans for Hungary didn’t come together exactly as planned so I won’t be booking the hotel until I get to Romania. I have no trains\/planes booked either, that didn’t come together because I was waiting on the Hungary finalization plans. Those came the day before my travel.<\/p>\n
Without much detail, the only real plan I have right now is that I know when I’ll be in Romania and what I’m going to do and where I’ll stay, and I know when I’ll be in Hungary and tentative plans.<\/p>\n
I’ll visit Bulgaria sometime in between when I can get all the other plans worked out. <\/p>\n
I’m excited because I’ll be going to an area in Hungary with a large number of orphans. I belive my friend in Budapest is from this area so that is coincidence? Nahhh.<\/p>\n
Wifi connection keeps having an error, I’m not happy about that <\/p>\n
It is amazing how many people sitting in this waiting area for Continental are using technology of some sort. Even the elderly couple next to me. Buzzing, tweeting, typing, clicking, ringing…everywhere. <\/p>\n
I remember in the 90’s the first time I traveled to Romania we were just shocked at how many cell phones there were and how many people were using them all at once. At that time cellular service wasn’t popular in the US, but GSM was cheaper than landline phones in Europe. Phones rang constantly. Now it is commonplace but it was such an odd thing then.<\/p>\n
