Ok, everyone who knows me understands I’m like a bull in a china shop. \u00a0Usually I’m falling though in Romania. \u00a0This time I’ve outdone myself. This happened on my first night at House of Angels.<\/p>\n
I went to the bathroom, normal procedure, although it was lights out and it had been so long since I’ve stayed in the orphanage that I forgot that the light switches are arms length above my head. \u00a0I couldn’t find the switch anywhere. \u00a0I really had to go! \u00a0 ha \u00a0 I searched high and low. \u00a0 I forgot my most coveted packed possession is my flashlight for this very thing. \u00a0 Duh! \u00a0 I remembered I came back to get it and backed into the fridge in Gelu’s office, and bumped a glass….ut oh! \u00a0In my bathroom frienzy…Yes, I have proven yet again, Murphy’s Law. \u00a0Either that or my rear end is way too big still! \u00a0 Huge crash…glass flying everywhere. \u00a0 The lights are very dim here at night so I can’t find a broom and I know there is a closet somewhere.<\/p>\n
I have to pull a nurse away from the babies and point and grunt my best charades with her to find a broom…luckily charades is one of my favorite games \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0I didn’t learn the name of a broom in Romanian, but I’m thankful it isn’t one like the grannies use out on the streets! \u00a0Those look like what you would see in a\u00a0Halloween\u00a0commercial, handmade even! \u00a0The nurse was thoughtful enough to hand me the dustpan so I’m set. \u00a0I had to take a pic of it first though. \u00a0Shame on me. \u00a0 Please don’t tell Gelu.
