I am sitting in the Minneapolis airport.\u00a0 Looks like a thunderstorm outside.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Uneventful travel with the exception of losing all my confirmed seating due to the way the travel agent booked my tickets.\u00a0\u00a0 I got an exit row from Dallas to Minneapolis so I was able to stretch out my legs, but not able to lean the seat back.\u00a0\u00a0 I’ve only had 3 hours sleep in the last day and a half.<\/p>\n
So I’m ready to arrive in Entebbe Airport in Uganda, and start my African adventure.\u00a0\u00a0 I actually am very excited about it.\u00a0\u00a0 I’ll be traveling with Katie and her husband Robert and their two small children from Amsterdam forward.\u00a0\u00a0 Katie is a social worker and she will travel with me on a few of my trips to the orphanages.\u00a0\u00a0 Robert is from Uganda and so he knows all the culture there and can advise us in the best possible way.\u00a0\u00a0 I’m thankful for them, otherwise I’d travel alone.

\nTo the man who kept passing gas on the plane sitting in front of me going to Minn, (LOUDLY I might add)…shame on you.\u00a0 Although all the 15 giggly teen girls thought it was funny, hilarious even…those particular farts were NOT funny to endure.<\/p>\n
I was up most of the night trying to go over in my mind what I might have forgotten.\u00a0 I do this every time I travel.\u00a0\u00a0 In the end there is usually something I didn’t get or do.\u00a0\u00a0 This time, I think I packed essential medication in my check-in bag.\u00a0\u00a0 Oh well.\u00a0\u00a0 I’m hoping that the bag somehow connects to me my flights were so weird and flights were canceled and my travel agency didn’t notify me, so who knows!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
